Spanish is the second most spoken language on the planet. Over 330 million people speak Spanish and with over 130 million Spanish speaking people using the internet... it is the third largest group language based internet users worldwide. Only English and Chinese is larger.
With numbers as big as these you would think that marketers are aggressively trying to attract online consumers in the Spanish speaking markets. However, the opposite is quite often the case. When doing market research on the internet it becomes abundantly clear that niche markets are wide open in Hispanic markets.
Often times pay per click can be pennies in the Hispanic marketplace compared to the same categories in English.
